Prior to installation, over 1 1/2" of
old flooring must be removed.  This
will allow the new floors to be one
level throughout the entire home.
Upon removal of old flooring it was
discovered that the existing
sub-floor was destroyed from
termite damage.  All damage was
removed and a pest control
company was called to treat for
future protection.
New floor joists were installed,
along with a new wall bands.
3/4 OSB is glued and nailed to the
joists with ring-shank nails after
being insulated.
The customer requested a walnut
rug to be placed in the floor to
compliment the pending computer
table that would be placed in this
location.
After sanding, a coat of
primer/sealer is applied to start the
coating process.
